“Imagination is more important than knowledge…knowledge is limited, but imagination encircles the world. To see with one’s own eyes, to feel and judge without succumbing to the suggestive power of the fashion of the day, to be able to express what one has seen and felt in a trim sentence or even in a cunningly wrought word…is that not glorious? When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come close to the conclusion that the gift of imagination has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing absolute knowledge.”
Accelerating Innovation for Personal & Professional Success!
Walt Disney once said “change is inevitable; growth is optional.” In today’s ever-changing world, everyone faces change everywhere in their life. To understand that change is in fact inevitable, the choice of growing from this change is a personal choice. This workshop is designed to help individuals improve their innovative and critical thinking skills to make better decisions, personally and professionally.
A study was conducted where creative and critical thinking skills training participants identified specific tools and techniques that enhanced their ability to solve problems creatively based on their unique innovation style (Puccio, Wheeler & Cassandro, 2004). Based on the aforementioned research, this workshop will introduce the fundamental principles and techniques of innovative and critical thinking. Participants will also have the opportunity to identify their “personal preferences” for the innovation process utilizing the FourSight™ assessment tool.
After attending this workshop, you will be able to:
- Utilize proven principles and tools in your organization today to accelerate innovation and lead change.
- Improve personal and professional relationships by utilizing innovative and critical thinking skills.
- Generate ideas efficiently and effectively by “suspending” all forms of judgment.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone who makes decisions every day, personally and professionally, and desires to understand and improve their innovative and critical thinking abilities.
